Unexpected Love




"Oh god (y/f/n) where's (y/f/n) man! she's as usual late!"




"Geez I know she's never on time! Grrr!"




I was getting impatient today as there was a special book signing session with the lads on their latest book in x mall's book-store. And in front of us there was a group of hormonal teenage girls in the waiting line, but as usual miss (y/f/n) was late. I sighed for the umpteenth time and glanced at my mobile screen it was currently 10:45 am and in 15 minutes we'll get to see the guys. I began to tap my left foot impatiently on the ground and was imagining all sort of scenarios in my mind on how will i react when I'll see the one I secretly have a crush on since their first song. I glanced towards (y/f/n) she was just like me probably imagining Niall. I smiled and finally I saw the one we were waiting for since the last 25 minutes. She came towards us with a goofy smile I glared at her then said




"Finally you decided to show up I thought that we had to wait for you outside and inside the signing event would have been over! Seriously (y/f/n) be more responsible"




Elena nodded and was about to say something more nastier but I stop her not wanting to spoil the mood of (y/f/n).

Finally after 15 minutes the bookstore's doors got open and five security guards came out,




"Ladies I want you all to queue up as I'm going to hand you a card that you'll present inside in order to get meet the boys."




I felt my palms getting sweaty and my heart began to beat faster probably the adrenaline rush through my veins. Slowly slowly the queue got shorter and soon it was my turn, I got the number "88". Once getting inside there were huge life size posters glued on the wall and the lads were looking charming as usual. Soon we were directed towards a table where baam I saw all the 5 sitting. First there was Liam, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Harry. Oh my god I felt my heart beating more faster than it should, I took a calming breath and advanced towards them, Paul who was keeping an eye on the lads asked me my card,




"Hello morning, give me your card so I can stamp it and please remember no personal questions, no hugging. But you can have a handshake. It's for security purposes."




I nodded obediently fearing the tall man in front of me, I smiled lightly, took the book out of my bag and advanced towards Liam, he smiled and said




"Hello sweetie how you doing?"




"I'm good thank you"




"ah that's good to know. It great to know that our fans love us so much. Thank you."




I smiled back and went towards Louis he also smiled lightly and said




"Hello love thanks for coming"




He signed the book and pushed it lightly towards Niall, and he was already smiling widely that I could not help but smile back at him feeling some of my stress fade, he looks cute when he smiles

"Hey hello. What's your name?"




"(y/n)"




"Haha that's a beautiful name just like you"




I smiled at him and mumbled thanks, when suddenly Zayn whispered something in his ear, and they both shared a smile, Niall handed me the book and said




"Thank you so much for coming (y/n) hopefully I'll see you more often"




I nodded, and with erratic heart beats I came infront of Zayn, he looked at me and smiled and boom I felt butterflies all over in my stomach, gosh I don't know how to react now. somehow I managed to smiled back.




"Hello miss 88"




Huh! 88 I was confused he looked at my confused expression and pointed at the card that I was holding




"Your card number is 88 yea! So you're miss 88."




I was literally in trance listening to his voice. Damn how can someone be so awesome! This can't be! However he signed the book and got up, and surprisingly enough he hugged me! Ha! I took a second to react but willingly hugged him back. After a few minutes he broke the hug and looked at me




"Thanks for coming yea miss 88. See you pretty soon yea"




I nodded and then advanced towards Harry, he was looking at Zayn with a knowing expression, then turned to look at me




"Hey are you alright?"




I nodded enthusiastically, oh what a charming guy with long curly hair, he's adorable, I shook my head lightly and replied




"Yea I'm fine and you?"




"Oh I'm good. Don't worry. I'm happy you're fine though. You look great in your outfit by the way. Really cute. Anyway thanks for coming. Hopefully I'll see you soon."




He moved in for a handshake so I shook his hand happily and proceeded exit not before glancing in Zayn's direction. Soon the gals and I gathered outside and decided to roam in the mall, after one hour we decided to eat something, when I opened my bag a chit of paper came out, I thought it was some trash and didn't pay heed, however I heard collective gasps behind me, I turned around and saw the girls holding the chit of paper, (y/f/n) handed me the paper and smiled, being so confused I look at whatever was written and I was shocked




'Hey miss 88 can you come and meet me after the book signing session it'll end at 11:30 yea. Hopefully will see you there. I'll be next to the book-store itself. Zayn. x'




I looked at the time it was 12:30! I gasped shit I missed the opportunity to meet him. However I ran as fast as I could towards the book-store unluckily for me there was no sign of Zayn, I sighed and felt disheartened. God why didn't I see this note before! Ugh! I began to walk back, when someone held my hand, I looked back and saw Zayn, my eyes widened in surprise




"Took you long enough to get here Miss 88! I was bout to go thinking you won't come!"




" I'm--- I'm sorry it's in only now I saw your note! And I came running. Sorry to make you wait"




He looked at me and then released my hand he lightly brushed his hand on his quiff then he said




" er no problem! Okay I called you here for something important! So listen carefully yeah"




He took a deep breath and said




"First of all you're really cute and somehow I grew a liking for you. So ehh yea will you please go out with me?"




I was shocked! Zayn malik is asking me out, no this can't be! I misheard probably. But no he was looking at me with a serious expression. I gulped and said




"Why me?"




"I don't know! I saw you I felt something for which is really unusual for me! To like someone so quickly So I decided to act upon my instincts. And asked you out! Yea it's different thing if you don't want to!"




I shook my head and then replied




"I'm happy you asked me out Zayn. It's something I dreamt for so long. So yes I accept to be your girlfriend."



He smiled then hugged me tight softly whispering thanks in my ear, I shivered slightly listening to his voice but nevertheless i hugged him back. I don't know what'll be the future of this relationship. But for now I got him so I can be a little selfish!
